Diversity-Centered Business Model

Inclusion Campaign

In 2019, we launched the Inclusion Campaign, a year-long movement to optimize our diverse talents , and foster a more inclusive organization. Senior leaders across the country hosted launch events to kick off this ongoing journey by engaging associates and highlighting the value and importance of an inclusive company culture.

We know that winning requires the efforts of our whole team of associates who bring their full authentic selves to work. Our all-inclusive Associate Resource Groups are volunteer, company-supported and associate-driven groups, drawn together by common characteristics, purpose and commitment to being a resource for our associates and the organization. Asian American Network (AAN)
AAN provides professional development, mentoring, and leadership opportunities with a focus on the recruitment, retention, and advancement of Asian/Pacific American associates. AAN seeks to enhance awareness and understanding of the Asian culture and customs, as well as collaboration across the entire business.

CapAble Associate Network (CAN)
CAN focuses on providing educational and developmental resources and increasing the awareness of matters that affect people with disabilities. CAN’s efforts create more inclusiveness for our associates, communities and customers.

Latino Associate Network

LAN creates an environment that attracts, develops and retains associates of Latin descent, including those who are Latin American, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian. LAN also creates shareholder value by facilitating interaction and communication among associates, community organizations and Latino and Hispanic customers.

NBA creates an environment that attracts, develops and retains Black associates. NBA also recognizes the importance of community partnerships and acts as a resource to cultural insights that target and influence the purchasing preferences of Black customers.

PRIDE creates an inclusive environment that appreciates and values the diversity that lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer associates bring to U.S. Cellular. PRIDE provides insight on how to best serve our LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer) associates, communities and customers.

Veteran Associates Leading Organizational Results (VALOR)
VALOR provides support, guidance and resources to associates and families associated with the military. VALOR delivers support for active and veteran military associates and their families by facilitating a successful transition into U.S. Cellular’s culture and providing opportunities for professional growth. VALOR also provides insights that enable U.S. Cellular to recruit high performing talent and better serve our veteran customers.
