Diversity is a core value of our dynamic organization
We are committed to demonstrating equity and fairness through inclusion of diverse associates, customers, and suppliers.
Every day we bring our diverse cultures, backgrounds and talents together for a common purpose—to provide the world's best customer experience. We strive to create an inclusive culture where our differences (including but not limited to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or pregnancy) are embraced, celebrated, and leveraged.
Inclusion is How We D.O.
Our potential as a Dynamic Organization depends on the combined passion and efforts of everyone who works here. It demands that we find, keep and nurture a diverse mix of associates wholly committed to a culture of inclusion.
In 2019, we launched the Inclusion Campaign, a year-long movement to optimize our diverse talents, and foster a more inclusive organization. Senior leaders across the country hosted launch events to kick off this ongoing journey by engaging associates and highlighting the value and importance of an inclusive company culture.
The Inclusion Leadership Team
Our Inclusion Leadership Team (ILT) provides leadership that empowers U.S. Cellular to create a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment for our associates, customers, and suppliers. Co-chaired by our CEO and CHRO, with functional and Associate Resource Group (ARG) representation, the team meets quarterly to review, support, and champion our Diversity & Inclusion strategy.
The mission of the ILT is to enable U.S. Cellular’s Diversity and Inclusion strategic success by guiding, sponsoring, and assessing our company Diversity & Inclusion policies, processes, and tactics. The ILT passionately promotes representation, equity, and inclusion for every race, color, gender, generation, orientation, disability, national origin, and veteran status.

associate resource groups
We know that winning requires the efforts of our whole team of associates who bring their full authentic selves to work. Our all-inclusive Associate Resource Groups (ARGs) are volunteer, company-supported and associate-driven groups, drawn together by common characteristics, purpose and commitment to being a resource for our associates and the organization. ARGs create diverse and inclusive experiences that:
Align with our vision and values
Increase associate engagement and empowerment
Support professional development
Pridefully promote us as a best-in-class employer and wireless provider of choice
Asian American Network (AAN)
CapAble Associate Network (CAN)
Latino Associate Network
Next Generation Empowerment Network (N-GEN)
Network of Black Associates (NBA)
Veteran Associates Leading Organizational Results (VALOR)
The Human Rights Campaign also recognized UScellular for earning 100 percent on the Corporate Equality Index for the second year in a row.
To support the commitment of our ARGs and extend our outreach efforts, we continue to forge external partnerships and regularly seek new ways to collaborate with organizations to attract and develop diverse talent vital to our business and the culture of our workplace. From best-in-class resources, to professional development and network opportunities, we encourage our associates and leaders to be their best selves personally and professionally while celebrating their diverse backgrounds and cultures.
UScellular is committed to enhancing the use of diverse businesses by proactively developing relationships with minority, women, veteran, service-disabled veteran, disabled, members of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community, disadvantaged and local businesses within our supply chain.
The foundation of our program consists of internal and external deliverables to help ensure program success for all UScellular stakeholders.
