Program Components
Your leader and other mentors will provide guidance throughout the summer. In addition to assigned projects, you will have opportunities to learn about other areas and departments. The following program components will be part of your internship:
  • Real-world, professional career experience where team input and participation is essential. U.S. Cellular is an energetic and challenging work environment where individual development is needed to drive superior results, not only for the organization, but for the individual intern or associate.
  • Networking with full integration into our corporate culture, the Dynamic Organization, including a 2-day networking and learning event with executives and leaders in our Chicago headquarters location.
  • Top Intern Contributor Scholarship recognizes superior contributions to the team, quantifiable results, individual initiative and personal development.  Award winners receive a $1000 scholarship to assist with college expenses.

Most of our internships are in the greater Chicago, IL area (in or near our corporate headquarters), though some will be located across our footprint nationally in Iowa, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Wisconsin, etc.
