Education
Education We support local K-12 and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) educational programming with national relationships with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and JASON Learning. We support more than 50 local Boys & Girls Clubs where our time, talent, and financial resources help to create meaningful impact for the organization’s Academic Pillar. Our work with JASON Learning focuses on developing unique curriculum to encourage students to consider careers related to STEM and provide teachers with the resources to promote opportunities in this field. Our philanthropic strategy with these nonprofits is to engage our associates in volunteer activities and help develop a talent pipeline for future STEM leaders.   
Generosity
Doubling Our Associates' Generosity U.S. Cellular associates have big hearts—and it shows in our Associate Matching Program. We match their charitable donations to nonprofit organizations dollar for dollar, up to $2,500 per year, with an annual cap of $250,000.
Volunteerism
Volunteerism We're in the business of connecting calls—and people. The passion our associates have is on full display every day. You can feel their energy as we volunteer at local schools and nonprofits in our communities. We’re proud to support the passions of our associates as we work toward a goal of 35,000 volunteer hours annually.

Training and Development We live in an era of rapid change and complexity. But the team at U.S. Cellular takes the time to care about you—and your success. We’ve made an exceptional commitment to training and development. That means you’ll receive learning and performance tools, foundational programs, onboarding courses and other resources. Plus, you’ll get training that’s unique to your individual role. And throughout your U.S. Cellular career, you’ll use the Learning Management System (LMS). It includes online courses for professional and personal development, and tracks much of your training history.
